The southern Adriatic route
Beluga - the southern Adriatic route

Split – Bol on Brač - Hvar - Mljet – Dubrovnik – Trstenik – Korčula - Jelsa on Hvar - Split

Cruise Itinerary:

SATURDAY

Split – Bol on the island of Brač
Embark from the port of Split around noon.
After the familiarization with the boat and crew, we shall start sailing towards the island of Brač. Following the refreshment on the boat there will be plenty of time to go sightseeing and relaxed strolling around the town. Bol is the oldest coastal settlement on Brač. It lives in the solitude of the southern landscapes in the middle of the island at the foot of Bolska kruna and Vidova gora – the highest Adriatic island peak (778m). To the west and east of Bol there are numerous beaches amongst which the most famous one is the white pebbles beach called Zlatni rat, stretching towards the south in the shape of a 634m long tongue. Early dinner is planned on the boat.

SUNDAY

Bol – Hvar
After breakfast we sail towards the island and town of Hvar. It is an ancient settlement of a rarely rich history. For many people it is a true fairy-tale town with attractive architecture, amazing nature and mild climate. Hvar is the sunniest Croatian island, and one of the world’s most beautiful islands that keeps the spirit of the historic Illyrian, Greek and Roman heritage intertwined during the passage of time into a uniqueness of people and space of the contemporary times.

MONDAY

Hvar – Mljet
Because of the Hvar port regulations and whilst you are still asleep, we will start our voyage towards the island of Mljet. You will experience the beauty of the crystal clean blue sea interspersed with many bays and coves, and the unforgettable moments only the relaxed lunch rich in flavours and aromas of the traditional Mediterranean cuisine can provide. Pomena is one of the seven Croatian national parks abounding in pretty pine forests and pearly clear lakes where you will have an opportunity to go swimming. Later there will be dinner on the boat followed either by the night spent in the port or anchored in a bay.

TUESDAY

Mljet – Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is the pearl of the Adriatic and under the UN cultural heritage protection. Surrounded by the grey, massive walls it boasts three fortresses, five bulwarks and 14 rectangle towers. Dinner will follow the touristic sightseeing of the old town and then the night of great partying in Dubrovnik awaits us!

WEDNESDAY

Dubrovnik – Trstenik
After breakfast on the boat we start towards our next destination – Pelješec. Trstenik is one of the oldest port on the Pelješec peninsula, initially built for the purpose of grapes and wines trade (renown Dingač wine) and surrounded by dense pine forests and vineyards. Trstenik is nowadays a resting place for many yachts and boats that sail across the Adriatic throughout the year. During the day it is a lovely little place where from the pebbled beaches one can enjoy a magnificent view of the untouched nature and old stone architecture.

THURSDAY

Trstenik – Korčula
After breakfast the boat will sail towards Korčula. The island of Korčula is the most populated Croatian island and a favourable touristic destination. This pearl of the Adriatic is infested with bays and inlets, pine forests and olive groves, medicinal herbs and flowers. Right next to the Cathedral Marco Polo’s birth place can be found in the town that bears the same name. In July there is an event in Korčula that commemorates the Turkish attacks on the town and brings thrills to numerous tourists. It is a knight’s tournament called Moreška. Dinner is planned on the boat followed by the night out in the Korčula port.

FRIDAY

Korčula – Jelsa on the island of Hvar
Swimming and a leisure lunch on the boat will bring us to Jelsa on Hvar around the sunset. This beautiful clean town nestling in the middle of the island of Hvar is friendly and hospitable towards its guests and travellers. In 1991 the island of Hvar signed the ¨Middle Adriatic Islands – ecologically clean zone¨ Declaration based on the fact that Jelsa is a sunny garden drinking from the depths of the unpolluted sea and covered by the crystal blue of the sky.

SATURDAY

Split
Breakfast on the boat while we sail towards our last destination – Split. Diocletian Palace is the heart and soul of this town and it will embrace you with open arms. Split is a place where antic history goes hand in hand with the modern times, and is under the UNECSO protection as the world heritage. Sadly, it is time to say good-bye and we disembark in the Split harbour at 10 AM.
